Arriving in Hobart.
Having left from Sydney very early on the morning of October 7, 1999, we arrived at Hobart, Tasmania just before noon the same day to be met by Amelie and Ruth. Amelie and Ruth are sisters who have lived in Hobart since the end of WWII. They visited with us about 8 years prior to this trip. They were to be our hosts for several days. Here Marcia and Ruth are laying out the picnic which Ruth prepared for our road trip on the first full day we had in Tasmania.
