Elizabeth from Alberta, Canada, was in Dallas, visiting her son and daughter-in-law so we got together on July 27 for lunch to celebrate her August 1 birthday a little early. We met at the wonderful Grand Lux Cafe at the Dallas Galleria along with Re-Gal Vickie and her friend Janet.

The waitress was terrific, and two managers stopped to wish us well. Several people came to our table to talk and tell us how pretty we were, including three young girls and a man from Germany, who took the above picture for us.

Elizabeth was served an edible birthday card from the Grand Lux staff, and the three of us kazooed Happy Birthday to her. It was great to see Elizabeth again and share such a delightful lunch with her.
