Rachel chose Mercury Hall for her wedding reception today, and she designed her own cake. It's very contemporary, with blades of grass and flowers, all in white icing on the pale yellow cake. It's a four-tier that serves 157. If you're looking for something different, how about a cake in your choice of colors with nothing but this kind of flowers completely covering all tiers--in white or a mixture of colors. I think that would look awesome, and it would definitely be one of a kind! The price is $2.50/ serving, and I think that's a good buy with as much artwork time as it takes. Oh, I didn't mention the little 'fireflies' above the flowers.
