This little cake celebrates Melanie's wedding today. It's an Austin Cake Lady
original, and I just love it--so unusual that it stands out as being both contemporary and elegant. Tiny vines of grapes gently cover the cake and they're so realistic you'd want to reach out and pick some of those tiny clusters.
It's a very smooth butercream cake with pearl dot borders and it runs $2/serving.
It's a French Vanilla cake with strawberry filling, and if you're looking for something that really doesn't need flowers, here it is. A cluster of real grapes at the base would have been pretty. I hope you like this one too--let me know what you think.
