MELISSA'S POLKA DOTS
I LOVED Melissa's choice of ribbon for her cake--coffee brown with aqua polka dots! (It was in a Wal-Mart bag so it might have come from there if you're ribbon shopping!) For the cake design, Melissa chose the 'Hearts' for the top tier, 'Happy Swirls'in the middle, and 'Lazy Lace' on the bottom tier. Their reception was at one of my favorite venues in my area--the Jean Cochran Center! However, they and several other brides this weekend opted to save a little money by picking up their cakes. The cakes stack as easily as baby's blocks and come in three boxes, each with non-skid mats inside. Our smallest cake serves 100, and this lovely three-tier serves 134 and sells for only $2.25/serving. It's "floated" close so that it looks stacked, but it actually isn't. I would NEVER send anyone out with a cake already stacked--that would be asking for big problems!
