SILVER SWIRLS
This is another of today's cakes, and the wedding was at the Scottish Rite Theater downtown. The cake is small and feeds 104, and it sells for $2/serving. The design is what I call my "Happy Swirls" because they bounce around playfully all over the cake!
It's the very popular French Vanilla cake with a hint of lemon and almond, and in the center is raspberry filling! It's a crowd-pleasing combination for sure! The cake is floated, one tier slightly above the one below and perfect for ease of serving and for keeping the top tier if you so desire.
That's a Precious Moments topper that adorns the cake and it is definitly precious. The flowers hadn't arrived but I hope I'll manage to get a picture of the finished cake.
