Dining Car.
This is one of the two dining cars. Part of each car contained one half of the kitchen. Of course these faced eachother in between the two cars. The menu was great and you could get as much as you liked much like on a cruise ship. You could also get things which weren't on the menu if what was there didn't appeal to you. Everyone could eat at the same time. Usually, we picked out a different couple every night with whom to eat. We just invited them to dinner! The first dining car was immediately behind our car, which made it very convenient. Whenever we were off the train, food was provided, either in a restaurant or in a brown bag when that was appropriate. Bottled water was always available and we were constantly warned about dehydration!
