The Re-Gals had another fifth birthday celebration with lunch at Furr's Cafeteria on June 16, followed by a video party at Queen Cynthia's house. Everyone enjoyed the varied food selections at Furr's, and we took the current QMB dare by being photographed eating ice cream. Our waiter, Derrick, did a super job of photographing our group. We welcomed two guests this month ~ Janie's daughter, Jani Marie, and Fayrene's friend, Martha.

After lunch, we moved to Queen Cynthia's house to view the Remarkable Red Hat Society documentary. We thought it was a wonderful depiction of our Society and would have made us want to join RHS if we hadn't already done it. The video also gave Jo Ann an idea for our August event.

We demolished our birthday cake, and Cynthia raffled prizes. Although we missed Vickie since she didn't come to the house, it gave someone else a chance to win the prizes. :o)

Some of us finished the afternoon watching a DVD of photos from the recent Nashville International Convention.
