This is my 1940 vintage Singer 201-2

Singer 201s are a full rotary, fully geared and ball bearing equipped version of the Class 66 movement. The majority are electric, but they are also found as treadles. For more info, see: http://www.ismacs.net, http://www.needlebar.org, and http://www.treadleon.net.

In early spring 2007 I started researching sewing machines to replace my old-unreliable-plastic-geared-vintage-1980-piece-of-junk. I hit gold with the 201. Thank you to all of you who are teaching me about vintage sewing machines!
