We have been building for 41 years- super-insulated timberframes and red iron commercial buildings- about 1600 all together. Whe it came time to put yet another house on our farm- we wanted a good house built by someone else. All the local stickbuilders were too expensive without delivering the mold safety and ease of finishing that we wanted- we were busy dudes and wanted this DONE.

After 2 1/2 years of research we picked Sterling Homes from indiana- floor plans. price, options, good looking construction, and a sound financial backing- all entered into the decision. Roy picked the house and put it on my "honey-do" list- and I set off to build yet another house of a different mode for us. In the meanwhile, we devised yet another new HVAC system and cannot wait to see if the house performs as well as we thing it will. Air Conditioning without refrigerant and condensers, and continuous air movement with clean fresh air all the time. We did the same thing with our house in NH and LOVED it- this is a different climate and needed a little different approach....this summer will tell.
