desk calendar altered tin
I was working on the tin, and decided to flatten a bottle cap to add to the cover. I cut out a picture to put on the bottlecap. There happened to be a small calendar on the table where I was working, and I thought...that would make a nice addition to the cover, and the finished piece could be used on a desk. Not only useful, but art inside. The calendar can be replaced each year, and you could make these personalized by using a scan of a reduced image of a family member or friend. If the recipient isn't artsy you can just collage the inside with papers and..they can use the inside for storing business cards, address labels, whatever. 1/25/05
