Philadelphia Flower Show 2007

We visited the Philadelphia Flower Show on Thursday March 8th. It was a great show! The theme this year was "Legends of Ireland" so many landscapes contained Irish design elements. Ireland travel and tourism was a big sponsor and had several exhibits including the Spiral Gardens, Knot Garden, Ealain Wood, Living Wall and a stage where traditional Irish dances were performed. The talented Ragus (pronounced rah-goose), Irish dance troupe entertained the crowds.

While in Philadelphia we also attended the King Tut exhibition at the Franklin Institute and the Armana Ancient Egypt's Place in the Sun exhibit at the UPENN Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Both shows were fabulous and worth the trip and will be in Philly through September 30, 2007.
