Here's the story of Smalls the goose. The owners of Smalls and Crackers asked me to find a more secure home for their goose and duck. Here are some pictures from the 10 days or so that Smalls and Crackers stayed with me in my barn. Smalls laid her first ever eggs during that time! Crackers laid eggs also. After their stop here, they then moved on to a wonderful new home with my friend Cathy. Soon thereafter Smalls was fitted for a prosthetic bill at the Oklahoma State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Stillwater, OK. The doctors were fantastic and you can admire the final product in the photos here.
