RIBBON HYDRANGEAS
I love this cake that Marilyn chose for her Creekside Pavillion reception today! It's sitting on a platform covered with green and white hydrangeas Cake flowers arranged free by Austin Cake Lady but we didn't do the floral platform. Each tier has absolutely no embellishment except bottom borders. It looks like rolled fondant without the dreaded waxy taste, each tier has a wide ribbon the center. It is the absolute ultimate in simple elegance. It sells for only $2.50/serving in our all-time favorite French Vanilla with a hint of lemon and almond and with delicious raspberry filling (or your choice of many fillings, of course.)
Every cake is baked to your own personal specifications with loving care. NOTHING is ever done in mass production. Each tier of the cake is encircled with beautiful green and white hydrangeas. I personally think that flowers turn any cake into a thing of beauty, whether it's a few or a whole gardenful like this one, the end result was breathtaking! We're booking up to a year ahead and some '06 dates are already filled, so grab your date before it's gone.
