Medrith and Karen were dear friends in the small town of Quincy, California, brought together by a common love of knitting and a spark of creativity that led to designing knits by each and a couple of memorable collaborations.

I've been to all but one of the Knitting Retreats that they both hosted until Karen's untimely death. Medrith keeps on with the Retreats and they have become in the nature of family reunions, as many of us repeat year after year. The items in this album have all been designed by either and both together. My love and gratitude have been knit into each one.
