There are many advantages to taking classes online. The biggest advantage is the ability of working at your own pace. So many times at festivals, you may take class after class and although they're all fantastic, you get burnt out by the time the day is done. Online, you can work a couple of hours here and there as it suits you. One advantage over working solely with tutorials is that you have interaction with the teacher, the ability to ask questions and send pictures for the instructor to critique and offer suggestions. In many ways, it's like spending a couple of weeks with the teacher rather than just the few hours in a physical class. The instructors will do everything they can to make your class experience rewarding.
