WIESBADEN, GERMANY

When I was 15, my parents hauled me off to Wiesbaden,Germany, kicking and screaming. Dad was sent there to work for 2 years. Since I could not speak German, I was allowed to attend high school at the military school from 1960 to 1962. As much as I didn't want to go in the first place, it ended up being one of the greatest highlights of my life. I still keep in touch with many of my classmates and we have a very active alumni group and get together about every 2-3 years for a reunion. We always choose a different part of the country since we are such a diverse group and scattered all over the states. No one else understands our connection, no one else could. It was a special time, in a special place that gave us memories and friendships to last a lifetime. Visit General H. H. Arnold High School with me and take a step back in time to a special place in my life, and visit some of the wonderful reunions that have taken place through the years.
