Fall 2006 I visited the Garden in the Woods maintained by the New England Wildflower Society. My visit occured on October 6th. The fall foliage was in all its glory! There were even some late blooming fall plants to see but my main reason for visiting was to see the Rock On! Celebrating Stone in the Garden exhibit. This exhibit displays 37 rock sculptures in the garden by artists Christopher Curtis, Linda Hoffman, Jerry Kuyper, Michael Muzur, David Phillips, Ron Rudnicki, Karin Stanley, and Joseph Wheelwright.

I highly urge you not miss this show! You can see Rock On! until October 15, 2006. In fact from 12-4PM on October 15th admission is free. Plus the added bonus of the beautiful New England fall foliage! When you visit be sure to get the free Rock On! catalog and guide with map and descriptions of the stone sculptures in the garden.
