She is not a beginner doll, but it is possible if you are a good seamstress and stuffer and use ONLY Craft Velour or Wool/Rayon felt to make her.
The directions are step by step on the pattern, and there are some here too.

Thnak You all for the lovely comments about the Baby. She sold long ago, but was fun to make and is a pattern at my web site...Not the clothes, but the doll herself.
She can wear real baby clothes too.

Hi ADarlenell:
Darlene the baby pictured was made from my OLD Turnip Truck Tots pattern, but custom done with fancy clothes and real eyelashes and ibetan Lamb hair.
The doll underneath is simply the Turnip Truck Tots baby though.
