The Black Swan of Lindo Lake in Lakeside, CA, has been missing since about September 1, 2006. No feathers, no carcass has been found. I've never seen a coyote there, and nobody has ever told me that there are coyotes at Lindo Lake. It's very possible that this bird was stolen.
