We celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary in September 2006 by taking out a small cabin cruiser for a long weekend on the river Great Ouse at Ely and cruising up to Cambridge and back via the rivers Great Ouse and Cam.

Two and a half days on the boat were sufficient for the 34 mile round trip, plus an extra excursion down the Great Ouse below Ely and a short way up the river Lark.
