My main other railway, in a very small garden, was a G-scale turn of the century light railway. British stock being difficult to obtain in this scale, nearly everything is scratchbuilt or from seriously butchered kits. Nothing is taken too seriously, to put it mildly. With a recent move, a new larger garden railway in the same style is under construction.

Other railways built include one for the children in my local hospital. It was over two years in the planning from first idea to approval and actual construction but proved very popular, and durable. The trains are radio controlled, powered by rechargable batteries, all supplied by Playmobil. Unfortunately after two years the ward needed more room, and the layout is no longer in place.
