Threads Galore Quilt Shop Press Release QUILTS IN THE GARDEN Threads Galore Quilt Shop, 27 Pleasant Street, Rangeley, presents “Quilts In The Garden” from 10 AM until 4 PM Saturday, August 5. Rain date is Sunday, August 6th. Quilts of all sizes, from small wall hangings and table runners to full sized original designs, for sale and for show, will be displayed amongst the flowers, whimsical sculptures and garden art surrounding Threads Galore Quilt Shop and Quilt Inn Rangeley Retreat Center. “We’re celebrating our Tenth Anniversary with specials throughout the year, culminating with our largest outdoor show and sale ever,” announces owner, Carol Perkins. Special exhibitors this year include quilters, from near and far, who have participated in Threads Galore’s quilt classes, quilt camps and quilt retreats over the past ten years. “Trunk shows by national designers: Anka Treasures; Calico Carriage Quilts; and DAT Quilt Lady, Deb Tucker, are a special feature this year,” states Dan Perkins, co-owner, and will be hung at Quilt Inn Rangeley Retreat Center. A Porch Sale of discounted quilted items, in shop special on floral fabrics and Quilt Raffle Tickets to benefit the Rangeley Lakes Regional School Music Program round out this gala celebration.
