Well Dr. B, according to my x-rays...
On the left is Daniel's pre-op x-ray (7/14/06) and the right is post-op (8/1/06. Notice the "upper right" area and the difference in size. Daniel's pulmonary artery didn't develop much from birth to the surgery date. The patch to widen the artery corrected the flow and makes his heart look "bigger" (to me anyway). Dr. B says that is a good thing. Now if only we could get him to stop fussing! Dr. B. says it isn't really normal for the fussies to last this long.
