Daniel has a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot which requires surgical correction. His surgery was July 17, 2006 at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. Just a warning, the photos start with pre-op and go chronologically "down" the side of the page. His immediate post-op photos may be a bit tough to see, as he really doesn't look like himself.
