Several years ago, I discovered what has been called "mitered knitting," "patchwork knitting," and "domino knitting." All these names refer to the same technique: knitting up items by making small segments, then knitting them together. I've found myself making more and more things this way, as it's a great way to use up small amounts of different yarns.
