A total of 8 gardens were featured on the tour including 7 gardens located in South Shore towns and the herb garden at the South Shore Center (no photos). An art exhibit and free entrance to the South Shore Science Center were included in the price of the tour.

Many of the gardens featured extensive hardscaping, perennials, and water features. The styles of houses varied from antique capes and colonials to new contemporary colonials. Many featured barns and outbuildings.
