Unusually graciously welcomed, warm !
Today the temperatures in north east ohio reached a high (for this time of year)
62 and I enjoyed every moment with exaltation . . . I am blessed when I can rise
and meet the day with vigor instead of pain, positive vibes instead of honing in
on the negative ones and truly being thankful for that which made me, possible.

The warm weather was taken as more than just unusual and perhaps even
so far as a symbol of this acclamation to global-warming as a 'blessing' in
some respect. Okay certain species will be threatened to extinction but not
become extinct; therefore, procreation will still be possible only more precise
and challenging the umpteenth time into climactic changes.

I saw today as a good thing rather than a coming of doom, i.e. this talk of the
end of the world 2012. This beginning 'melt-down' in places that are quite
chilly are now turning into slushies . . . and scaring the human race into thinking
there is little chance for the planet to take itself back, so Christians put the deed
into the 'hands of god' while atheists place it in the hands of man?

Which will succeed ? Which organizations practices are better ? The Christian
or the atheist or the economist or the agriculturalist ? Whose plan to 'save the
planet' is the wisest ?

The pictures I added today are just visions of how in nature, 'change' is graciously
welcomed while in society 'change' is feared.

'till next time, the Enlightenment Advisor

Short but important !
Thats right the Enlightenment-psych.net now has constantly changing MP3
downloads for a variety of subjects. If you are looking on information about
your body, a business, a natural psychology pet peeve, a childrens concern,
a mind ailment,  or a mens or womens specific health concern, check these
out.

Hoping to stir some awareness in the spiritual, financial, psychological and
overall wellness through self-improvement, the 'wellness industry' is a plethora
of great sites. If you don't have the latest high-tech neat stuff, people are not
interested.

So I upgraded my standard features and have now implemented, for purchase,
reasonable priced downloads for your MP3 players. Tons of the same great
things found at yahoo shopping com, Amazon, eBay and even Google Shopping--
these are downloads that take up little space on most players. The ideal format to
getting info at your fingertips when you want it, right away for pennies on the dollar

So what are you waiting for ? Check these items often as i rotate them constantly.
New links to downloads appear for your listening pleasure, turn your speakers up
plus buying power . . .

Thank you for reading and
ENJOY !

sharing the light,

Awaiting the Storm

Honestly he was not expecting any major climatic changes since the sun was shining down on him warming him in the cool water. Algae is flooded here in this shallow wading pool, a home for many regional bullfrogs. He is satiated from a plethora of forage on nearby lillypads and various waterbugs that land.

When I saw him and many additions of his so-called family that lived here, all were various shades of green with speckled brown backs. Huge back legs indicate good forage and healthy environmental elements still prevail in our waste waters of America. I am glad to say him and his buddies did not be served as 'legs a'la carte !' You know I don't even know if this one was a male or not ? hmmm eihCopyright ©2009 All Rights Reserved

Are there any takers ?
If PictureTrail were to be taken more seriously by the seeker of beautiful photography and/or artwork, I might actually start giving this site more attention. To what appeal should I present my work? In pictorial essay form ? Slideshow only ? What is the favorite medium of your choice do you use to represent yourself artistically in person and on the internet ? and How might i get more attention from you ?

Today is the start . . .
of the rest of my 'new life' as the saying goes by many who have experienced some sort of awakening. Without the renewal of greenness in spring in tow, my world may not have been so bright. I was in a fog during the xmas holidays and the new year relentlessly reminded me how my 'downsized' feelings were starting to make life very confusing. Rather than pushing them further and solidifying defeat, I expelled all I had in various manifestations.

The first starting a few weeks before Thanksgiving was a brief cold, not any flu symptoms, just cold by having the runny nose and not being able to bring the chill of wonter oit of my bones. I am little, lithe body but tiny-framed and weght just does not stay put anymore. A blessing, maybe cause in 1991-1996 I weighed in at 160lbs due to unnecessary consumption of BC pills to regulate ovulation AND was a very non-healthy eater PLUS carried an awful lot of stress between immediate and extended families. I gave up on me, focused on everyone else, and only in 2006 when I was hospitalized had I realized being selfish is important if you are to love yourself first before allowing anyone else to love you back.

I am feeling better and some of my old habits are fading out of my present making my future brighter and more hopeful in achieving through my fullest potential, the goals I was meant to see accomplished !

Playing with Photography
There are many ways to reach self-improvement by developing your passion. My most creative expression avenue of exploration comes in the form of taking original pictures of already cool, beautiful, neat and exotic things or places or even people and manipulating them with color, hue changes and adding graphics to them.

It serves as a way to find alternate ways of thinking, seeing and constructing the world around us to make more sense . . . or at least look different than what we already see or know. It is tranpsrsonalism of the finest art quality to live by.

How do you use the 'photography avenue' to grow from or on ?

Any good books, please ?

Graduates, students, alumni & returning . . . even high school and junior high readers

A book game for those who love to sink their minds into someone else's imagination . . . I am hoping to compile a really decent list here with writers who are published or are ready to publish, or just readers ! to include their link for others to see.  Creating a great list for books I or you have read & encouraging others too also, is my goal this month and next.

I remember many summers as a kid involved in Reading Clubs from our local library. We had to read thirty books for the summer, which now I look back on as having been difficult but now piece of cake, so to speak. Anyway, it is the end of the school year and there are many graduates who have read some good, great and even phenomenol books during the course of their studies. The many graduates we know who have accomplished so much, might enjoy a good book not assigned to class syllabus's.

So get out yours, theirs, ours-- thinking caps, peruse your shelves for what you have read & note where to find it so readers have a real honest-to-goodness library here at Picture Trail !

Starting with my two favorites shown below. 1 of which is written by me and links to where other good books may be found, I added also.

Compilation of mine . . . this just better explains the different bridges I constructed between my mind, body and spirit and how maybe you can too . . .

Image Hosting by PictureTrail.comAn Angel's Guide To Yours Click Here  One of my dear colleagues & spiritual mentors provided my family with this when it first came out and I read it over and over. Nothing like learning alternate ways to communicate multi-dimensionally and know it is perfectly normal to do so . . . A helping, healing, touching guide to self-improvement of the bridges connecting our mind, body and spirit. Thanks Howard !

Love takes a toll on all three
The mind, body & spirit are affected by the emotion, 'love', in different ways but can simultaneously cause something to be 'amiss'. With mothers to children, love is to be rendered unconditionally; offspring to parents it is not so tolerant of so it is less unconditional and more based on some stupid pride. Why can't they just be like we are, says a confused parent after putting up with so much b.s. from the eldest teenager.

Children I do not have but clients with problems facing raising kids, I do know something about. It is a constant challenge between showing appropriate affection, discipline and compassion, all tied into the bigger word, "love".  That word encompasses strength from all three areas of development to make it essentially good throughout someones life. If "two out of three ain't bad" then the chances of experiencing love are rather slim.

Love yourself first. It gets easier after you let that little voice inside know you are listening and then when an outside voice wants to come in and share the message of your inner self-voice with their inner-self voice, let the communication begin. This is love but from what arena? Mind, body or spirit ? I am alsways curious how my thought-provoking stuff makes others scratch their head going well ya know ? . . .

Simply seeking a simple life
I geuss not having any children has made me look at life much differently, somehow becoming a bit more cynical without having the innocence of children around to to let me know better. When, without the beauty of a child to nurture and appreciating you for attending to their every need, the choice was made to be selfish and stay young without responsibility, is now behind me I look to a future without complexity. A simple life is what I seek, but it will be lonely for lack of laughter on a sunny day from a gifted toddler I am teaching to walk, as he or she takes tumbles and smiles instead of cries.

With thinking this through as the years drone closer to the time a baby is out of the biological question, I wonder if it is not complex life rather than simple, without children, life I seek. In my rebellion I remind myself dreamfully-aware but physically asleep. that children are not what will make me whole but rather growth in myself and the ability to share myself with another besides that child I birth. There would have to be a father, there is a father, and I would strongly deny my urgency to keep that father in the picture although I stand fast to believing I can do that alone, raise a child I mean.

This is not simple life I seek when these issues arise and fill my consciousness with confusion, resent and regret for taking that which I can never get back: a life. A decision I have accepted as made but regret that it had to be when now I see things could of still been simple, for everyone.

Instead of being free now, single and without the responsibility of shaping another persons whole life from conception to young adult, I feel I may have cheated myself out of never knowing whether I would be any good at parenting.

When that avenue is permanently, road closed, what 'untravelled roads' do you begin to explore to gain more power in your independence from the procreation gammette ?
