Nå lengter jeg til våren

til den første spire og strå

Nå lengter jeg til fuglene

som tripper lett på tå

For dagen lysner

det merkes hvert minutt

Og i denne ventens tid

går vinteren mot sin slutt

Da er det verdt å vente

og ha noe å lengte til

For våren den vil dukke opp

med sitt varme smil

Ttort fuglekor

med eget orkester

holder konsert hos meg nettopp nå

Det er som om de feirer dagen

med mye god mat

å meske seg på

og kanskje også

litt mildere vær

tross tåke og regn

i vårt hjemmlige egn
