The Armour of God

I have on my Armour and I know I'm protected

Shield by his mercy

Covered by his grace

With my Armour on my battles won

Without it I can't overcome

I can't overcome my tears or my fears

I can't overcome the enemy's sneers

I will be victorious with my Armour on

Because Gods there to help me through it all

With my helmet on my knowledge is covered

And I'll know how to use my scriptures under attack

With my shoes of the gospel of peace I know I can stand firm on my belief

With my breastplate of righteousness it covers my heart keeping all the bad things a part

With the shield I'm able to fight off all the things the enemy attacks me with

Now I use my sword which is Gods word to help me through all my trials and tribulations

And last but not least the belt of truth keeps my Armour intact and lets me speak the truth

So you see with my Armour I'm victorious in all that I do

But without it I'm defeated in everyway
