Had a few moles taken off my face today. Wow does it hurt tonight. Can't sleep pain meds don't seem to be working. The last surgery round which was on my arm didn't hurt this much that I remember and it was only 30 days ago. Guess I will go watch a little TV and see if I can wait until the Ibuprofen kicks in.

Another fun time at the fair this year. Five of us did demo's on blacksmithing and creating in hot metal.
I love this time of year when I get to hang out with the guys and talk hot metal.

Life is good for me, hope it's good for you but if it isn't take a deep breath for a minute and explore some of the awesome sites here on PictureTrail.
I love experimenting with different art media, it has brought great joy to my life. Some I have been successful with and some are just not so good. The experience and interesting people you meet along the way makes experimenting with art a true joy.
Right now I am enjoying the company of an awesome diverse, eccentric, eclectic group of men and women artists known as -- The blacksmiths. I admire them not only for their vast abilities and knowledge but for the actual creations they make by heating up metal, hitting it, twisting it and turning the images they have in their mind's eye into reality. I have to say on a more impish note, I love the tools and the mussle behind them.
If you have never had the opportunity to view a blacksmith in action, look around at your local state or county fair, you might find them there, as ferriers (horse shoeing) or as artists. It is a pleasure to be a small part of this vast group of creative souls.
Peace to you all, I must return to my happy place, creative beating in heavy metal.
