August 4th - depths of winter in Tasmania, but I notice that there is blossom starting to appear on the wattles. Plenty of snow in the mountains this year, which is a change from the much warmer winters we have been having recently.

 

Today I am working on a new piece - a swimming figure - all cloth- the biggest problem is to make her look as if she is under water and in motion. Might post some pictures of this piece as I work on it.
