I has been a long time since I have posted on this blog. I have written several post, in my head while I was walking or driving, but when i got home I did not feel like going through all of it again, the word for that is lazy.
Today, I am stuck here for a while. I am recharging my ipod. I am also adding some CDs. I have been on the run the last few weeks. The most memorial was a couple weeks ago. We wen to visit friends at Deep Creel Lake in western Maryland. They took us to PA to visit the crash site of Flight 93. That was a very emotional visit. I felt like I knew all 40 passengers. The actual crash site is fence off and only members of the families can step on it. They filled in the 25 foot crader and planted wild flowers. I also read the transcript of the last few minutes. As you can imagine it was mostly the terrorist yelling, Hail Alli. Don't know if I spelled that right, but I don't feel it is important to look it up. You know what I mean.
Our grandson has been home from the Army the last 2 weeks. It has been very nice. It is amazing how much the young people grow up after the experience. He finished basic training and graduated from his IAT, individual advanced training. Chris was in computer school and he graduated with honors. I am not surprised, ha. He sits in front of 3 monitors and one key board and keeps several things going. Not hard for a kid that loved video games. ha.
I am planning to add an album to the site. I don't know how long I will keep this going. My contact will up this fall. Because of spam, Picture Trail has had to make some changes. I get reports from them, but can not communicate changes I want to make. If I can't correct that I will not renew. I don't feel safe running the site with out control. Will try to write more often.
