Still working on the house. I just can't seem to do as much as I used to. No, it is not old age. At least, that is not what I want to hear. We did get some good news today. I have written before about our grandson, Chris in the Army. He is graduating from the computer school next week and he called home today to tell his mother, he will graduate with honors. He has a 98.6 average. He does very well in a controlled situation. That is why the Army was a good choice for him. He is also an eagle scout and a black belt in karate. That helped in the physical part of the Army.
The 14 year old is doing fine. He is still into soccer. He is pretty good too. His parents took him to a professional game in DC last night. They grow up so fast. We will be lost when they are both gone.
I think the Sterling has been bought. Will let you know when I know for sure. It would be so sad to lose that place, after losing the Pocahontas and Starland Drive In Theater.
Patty called last night and she and her dad are doing great in Myrtle Beach. She really likes it there. It seem like just yesterday that Patty was the little high strutting mascot Welch band had and then later a majorette for the band.
We drove to the the mall last night to enter "Princess" in the cruise in, but as we got there the black clouds that were following us, seemed too close for comfort so we didn't stop and just drove to the fifties ice cream shop and then came hone. I am glad we did because it was not long before we had a torrential down pour. I think I'll take a nap now. Good night!!!
