Last night I was trying to relax and turned to TV, That is a joke. I just don't find anything to watch any more. Then as I was channel surfing, I saw the movie "Mr Hollands Opus". I have seen it before and loved it. I love anything to do with music. As I watched I thought about what an impact music has had on my life. It is my escape. I like country, when I feel sad, Rock 'n' roll when I fell good and classic when i feel creative. I work best on anything if I have music. Music has a lot of power. It has been proven that people that listen to music as they walk or work out, burn more calories.
 I usually say that I burn twice as many calories when I walk on the treadmill and fantasize.Ha. It is  a great way to relax.
If we could bring back the music with words and not shouting, I think it would mean more to our youth and keep them with better thoughts.
 I was surprised, while in GA, my grandson put his i phone  up to my ear and he has a selection of Frank Sinatra in his collection. Wow, I loved that.
It was a mistake to watch such a moving movie at bed time. I had trouble going to sleep. I wanted to shake the whole world and say "sing baby sing".
I wanted to get up and start playing an instrument. I can't sing or I would do that.

I have taken over the small bedroom in our house. I have my roll top computer desk, that holds my computer, printer and scanner also have a work table with a TV , 2 VCR's and cameras . I also have a wall of book selves and extra table with phone and pictures stored. I There is also  a small boom box. My guitar, and clarinet and 3 music stands are set up. Now , no more room for anything. All of this keeps me busy. Just keeping it orderly is my goal.

Today, we took Princess to Pa for lunch and she had champagne.  Yep, we filled her up with premium. $3.49 a gallon. We had hamburgers. I guess it is fair.It was a very good trip. So many people were out because of the beautiful weather we are having. Every one wanted to talk about the car. I always enjoy the remarks. I always hear about their T-bird that got away. I feel so lucky to have the car, it is a distraction from life.
I added a few pictures to the site. I think they are in the swimsuit album. That was a request. The other one is in the memories album. I am still hopping people that said they would send me pictures still do that. I am sure people are tired of seeing me and Nilda. I have a lot more so, save yourelf and send me your pictures.
