.The last few days have been busy. Monday John had another shot, this time for his neck. I also received a call to attend a coffee for Mrs Huckabee, but was not able to attend because I had to drive John. She did some skeet shooting and I was told she did very well. We just returned from voting. It was different for me this year because in my displeasure with both parties, I had changed my affiliation to Independent.. In MD we cannot vote for president in the primaries. I was o k with that, I just had to make a statement. Both parties have gone too far to the left and right for me. At the poles, I was told, as I walked up to the machine, "you do know you cannot vote for the presidential candidate?" I answered yes, but when I got into the car, I asked John if they told him that and he said no. I was not happy about that. It seems they had to make sure a woman knows what she is doing. I feel if a woman is smart enough to decide to register Independent, she would be smart enough to know what she was doing. When are these men going to realize, we are smart.
