Birds are to be paid in full at time of purchase includeing shipping price and/or box fee if needed. I require a 50% non refundable deposit for any birds to reserve them which includes shipping cost. If you do not follow though on your end of the deal for any reason I keep the deposit.  The only time I hold birds is due to weather if they can't be shipped, If I have to wait on a box to come in to ship or another special reason similar but I will always keep you informed of status. If I cannot uphold my end of the deal your deposit will be refunded in full.

For peeps, started or adults paypal in any form is excepted or money orders only. Payment for eggs or birds in full before anything is shipped sorry my kid's and I don't work our tails off based on promises not kept.

shipped birds-

We are PA State Liceanced by the Dept of Ag as Liceansed Poultry Techs. We use biosecurity here therefore we do not allow others to come to the farm to see and get birds or eggs. Any pics I have posted here are my actual breeders or members of my flock and pics I have personally taken. Our flocks are not just a hobby for us they are also our food source as well as our beloved pets and we also show them. Each has a special place in our hearts and is very dear to us. If you live close enough to us we can meet for you to see some of if we have birds for sale to do a local pick up but we will not bring you to the farm due to biosecurity which we feel very stongly about. All other birds for sale will be shipped.

 

We do everything we can to provide happy, healthy, well loved birds who are feed a well balanced diet. They are kept in clean liveing conditions with plenty of space for them to run and play. My flock has been tested AI and PT negative and eggs and birds will come with the newest test results available however if i forget to give u a copy just email me for a copy of them and i will email a forward to u.  most of my breeders have been mereks vaccinated however some i don't know if they have been but we have never had a problem with it and they r all raised on wire. Starting this year we will be doing certain vaccines for our flock and babies hatched, i'll add a blog for that after I know for sure which we will be working with. Spring of 09 I will be doing the bleed work for our birds to be NPIP certified we are looking forward to haveing our flock in this program and can't wait!! We also worm, dust with DE, bath, trim nails ect to ensure proper health for the flock as well and they are feed fresh fruits and greens ect from our gardens during the warmer mths and treats.

 

Once a bird leaves my property I'm no longer responsible for it. It's up to you the buyer to make sure it is properly cared for it's health and well being. I do not replace or refund for lost birds because plain and simple shipping is extremely stressful on a bird, some can handle it others cannot. Birds will be shipped in usps approved horizon boxes or usps chick boxes. For 24 hours before shipped they will recieve, electrolytes, vitamins in their water and also hard boiled eggs cooked mixed with shells to help give them a boost. They will also be sent with fresh shaveings and fresh fruit for the trip and feed well before they leave. Most times birds ship fine but due to stress, heat or cold ect. there maybe problems during ship please know you assume all risks once they leave my property and are in transit and I'm not responsible for lost or stressed birds.
