Lynne has a passion for sea and sky, She grew up on the Jersey shore in Sea Girt, NJ, and now lives on the ocean on Key Biscayne, Florida. Working exclusively in soft pastels, Lynne, an award winning artist for more than 35 years. She visits the great museums of London, New York and DC and has been influenced by the masters of seascape Childe Hassam, Winslow Homer, Thomas Tryon, and Gustov Courbet, and exciting colorists Tiffany, Odilon Redon and Mark Rothko. Currently she works her pastels on black paper board, enhancing the vibrant, luminous colors. When asked which is her favorite pastel she has done,she steals a quote from Renoir - "the one I'm about to do!" |
