Introduce Yourself:
So..my name's Katie. Let me tell you a little about myself, but not too much, because there are sexual predators out there and I am very careful of what I say and do on here. Over these past two years, life has been tough. It was me trying to find out who I am and why I'm here on earth. To this day, I am slowly finding out that I am only one person and I can't do everything. I love meeting new people. I like helping others as well. I am a senior in high school right now and I am planning to go into college. I want to travel and get into Human Services. I want to go around the world and talk to people who struggle with depression and whatnot. Maybe drug abuse/depression/anorexia/etc. And just give them hope. And that only comes from one Source. I'm just going to see what's up and what happened in their lives that was so horrible. Many people ask me why I don't want to get married. Well, I just don't think that's the plan for my future. I'm not afraid of commitment. I just don't think that my career will let me spend time with my husband and family. So, I just decided not to get married. If there's a guy, maybe. But right now, my thoughts on marriage is negative. |
Rules I live by:
Well, I am a very independent person. I don't think that you need a guy or girl to make you happy. You need to be happy with yourself before you become happy with anyone else. It's the way of life.
Another rule, I guess, is to respect yourself. Don't let anyone walk over you. If you feel like you're getting walked on, step up! Don't be afraid. You are a creation, not dirt!!

Interests & Hobbies:
As you can see, I like photography. I saved my money to buy a Kodak Digital Camera. It works for me because I think it takes great pictures. I started photography Summer of '06 and I've been doing it for about 3 months. So basically, I'm a beginner. Any pointers would be awesome!!
I like hanging out with my friends and just having a good time. I have respect for others as well as for myself. So maybe thats why I make lots of new friends so easily. I am very random also, and some people think the things that I say are very weird. But who cares? You only get one life.
I love to play the piano. I have played the piano for 8 years now and I'm still wanting to keep learning! It's a calming choice when everything in my life is going hectic. The music just soothes you and makes you drift into another place. |

I don't watch that much shows. The only show I weekly watch is Degrassi:The Next Generation. |
