Introduce Yourself:
Petite (pretty word for short! My driver's license says 5'2" and that works for me. They didn't ask if it was with or without shoes!),. Brown hair, Hazel eyes, um, a little outgoing, mother, proud grandma, a bit of a neat freak, sometimes over organized, creative, friendly, believe in God, proud to be an American (and thank you to all of our troops) and the rest you will just have to figure out on your own if you are interested because I really do find it hard to write about myself.
NOTE to Family and a few Rude Friends: No more comments about my hair please! I am outdoors with the shows from start to finish and it is much easier to just pull it back. I am not going to use sprays, gels, etc. because I don't like how they feel. As soon as I get five days in one place I will find a good salon and get a perm or something. And yes, I will try to remember to put on make-up once in awhile from now on. Okay? Good! |

Rules I live by:
1.DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU!
2. If I am somewhere that no one knows who I am I can do anything that I like as long as it isn't illegal and will not hurt anyone.
3. Be honest. Too much work to remember lies and they always come back and bite you in the butt anyways.

Interests & Hobbies:
Scrapbooking, roller coasters, family, friends, visiting tourist traps and amusement parks, NASCAR, reading, camping, hiking, boating, animals, cooking, playing on the beach, trying new things, meeting new people, exploring museums
I need the mountains, they restore my soul

TV Shows:
CSI - all of them! I don't get to watch much TV so I am really not up to date on shows. I haven't even seen any of this season's new shows! |
Favorite Music & Bands:
This one is very hard because I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings! LOL! I like most music but mostly I listen to that Good Ol' Rock n Roll. Yeah, shows my age. Classical and Jazz are right up there at the top of the list too. |
Favorite Movies:
Princess Bride, Lord of the Rings, Gone With the Wind, Lake House, Sleepless in Seattle, yep all of those sappy, chick flicks. Still believe in the whole True Love bit. |

A Few of My Favorite Things:
children's laughter, the smell of lilacs, CHOCOLATE, purple, playing in the rain, absorbing the colors in a sunset, driving nowhere, the flowers of Spring, hugs, shoes, the feel of silk sliding over my skin, my Mustang, grandbabies in my arms complete with Meow kisses and squishy hugs, fresh pineapple, pictures of people, a new tray of plants, watching wild animals, listening to the birds as they sing in the new day, seeing old friends |
Favorite Reads:
I read just about anything that I can get my hands on in fiction. I don't read biographies, feels like I am prying into someone else's business. Still love "How To" books but you find anything on the net now and with a printer you are good to go. |
