Soon the time will be upon us when nights with him are perfectly normal . . .**Your Night w/ The Nutcracker
SugarPlum faeries might visitI often find this time of the year the perfect time to go back into my childhood bliss. Don't you ? Where the snow could be a veil, snowflakes could be cut uniquely by ice maidens, and the winter chilly wind could whisk you away into another land. It was where a dance with a nutcracker was not so unusual but whimsical nevertheless a time that did believe a nutcracker could come to life, every girl could be a princess and wishes really did become our reality.
Not just inspired by the review on the product above, but the traditional 'xmassey' feeling that is already spreading its way across media in television commrcials, store holiday sales, mail order catalogues arriving way early . . .
I mean heck folks we haven't even gone Thanksgiving shopping yet, have we ?
But back to the nutcracker talking part. He doesn't really but the imagination of a child should not be lost to the adult. It should be equally embraced, tea or not. An adult mother or father or single renter or home-owner is trying to wind down from the chaotic year and end this one with some integrity intact. I intend on making the best of what I can accomplish betwee now and then and if my holiday fantasies include a dance with a talking 'sugar plum fairy', I won't run the other direction.
hailing in the holidays . . . and your take is ?
