About Me |
I enjoy woodworking to the fullest.
I have made quite a bit over the years. My dad is a carpenter and maybe that is how I got inspired. Sometimes I have to wonder if it's because he wouldn't let me work for him. I told him that I would wear baggy clothes so that the guys wouldn't get distracted but he still said no. It wasn't until my huband who taught me all that I know about woodworking and allowed me to work with all the tools that I really fell in love with it.
I also enjoy gardening. I love to see things grow from seeds and cuttings. I love to see all the hard work pay off with beautiful flowers and plants. I have been gardening just as long as I have been woodworking.
My other passions are computers and Karate. My job involves that I work with Photoshop on a regular basis. I seem to think that I am really good at it. I have gone as far as to merit 6 out of 6 prints with fairly good merits at a professional photographers convention. I know that I still have alot to learn in Photoshop because it is endless with things to learn. I'm also considered the tech around here because when computers are not working correctly they call me. I enjoy solving problems when no one else can.
Now Karate, well I have been doing it for number of years now and have come along way. I even kept up with it when I had my last child. I am a purple belt in Rullan Go Ju Ryu it is a Japnese Style Karate. I have learn some of the techniques in Japanese. To me it is alot of fun and great exercise not to mention great for self defense. One day I hope to be a black belt.
I also enjoy roller blading. I have been skating ever since I was 13 years old. It's how I met my husband 18 years ago. Now I have 4 lovly children and never been so happy in my entire life.
One thing I know is that I enjoy being creative, I guess that is why I do all kinds of things for the enjoyment of being creative. I also make jewelry along many other things I put my mind to.....
The new programs that I am trying to learn is Dream Weaver 8 and Painter 9.....I will see what's next after that.....

Little something else |
I have been married for 18 years. I have 4 beautiful children all girls, they are 17,13,5, and 3. If you were wondering they are all from the same marriage. You can just say that I got a bug and had to have two more.
Music:
I enjoy alot of music. I absolutely love music it soothes the soul. I love anywhere from country,classical,rock, to many other kinds. There are a few I do not care for and one is hard rock,some rap,blue grass and I know there might be one or two more.
Movies:
I enjoy comedy,romance,action,suspense, and a few others. Depending on the Western would I watch them.
Books:
Well, I think it is a good idea to read books because it educates the mind but it has a sore spot in my life so I don't do much of it unless I am learning something new and need info to learn it.
TV:
Well, I enjoy watching West Wing,Friends (When it was on),CSI,gardening shows,woodworking shows of course and many others. I really don't consider myself a coach potato because I have much better things to do. |

I'm here to make friends and help anyway I can to enrich their life. I love helping people and giving them knowledge if I can.

My hero |
Okay my first and foremost hero is my husband who has taught me all that I know in life which has allowed me to do the things I love so much. I think if it wasn't for him having faith in me and teaching me all that I know I could't have done all that I have in the last 17 years. He is my Hero.
