About Me |
I celebrated my 35th wedding anniversary this year (2006); we have 2 grown sons, the older is married to a sweet young woman; the younger is in college. We also have 2 cats. Because of physical problems, I no longer work outside the home (and not much at home LOL). We live in a little town named Abingdon in Maryland. I like it because we're near the highway and can quickly get to shopping centers, but dairy farms are even closer.
I'm a big reader and a HUGE Tolkien fan years before Lord of the Rings movies. I devour mysteries and other favorite authors are Elizabeth Peters, Elizabeth George, M.C. Beaton and Donna Andrews. I also enjoy cross-stitch (could you guess), knitting, watching baseball, especially the Orioles, college basketball.
I enjoy traveling and seeing more of this beautiful country, though I don't do very much of that anymore.
