Am school boy once again, when sense of giddiness sets in. A feel of love received and given as was it seems too long ago. The mind at dance with stars, slapping hands with sun and moon. The heart providing rhythm's beat to songs of birds that can't be seen. On paths I once just walked, now strut across like peacock - and even do a jig not caring 'bout the watchful eyes. I make no sense am sure, 'cept to those who fly in same euphoria. When phone does ring before the second, I have you in my ear as though in strong embrace. I dare not hang, for to do so would be like breaking hold I have on you. Our days together are much too short, yet when apart same time - eternal. Though no longer boy in body, but still in mind and heart, I carved our names on park bench and willow tree you favor. While bench as me will someday see its end, on willow tree our names forever will be seen....unless its burned away.

What Is Love?
Insomnia driven sleepless nights, when pillow substitutes for a love in distant time and place. Your body overwhelmed by one who lives deep inside your inner most, causing stomach to fly aloft with butterflies - therefore hungering not except for other half.
