I have been breeding silkies for about 2 years, so I am rather new at raising silkies. I am very proud of my hatches this year. I am getting good vaulted skulls and great foot feathering. I started raising poultry about 4 years ago, my son and I got a trio of everything we liked. We learned real fast that don't work out. That is where the poultry garden name came from. We had a yard full of many different colors and breeds. We now have cochin, japanese and silkies. We have been working hard with the silkies to get show quality birds, I am happy to say we are getting there.
I am happy to have added a new splash roo to my breeding program. He is a 100 % hatricks. I would like to thank Kerri my friend at SevenWondersFarm for the sell of this beautiful roo.
