About Me |
| Art has been a lifetime passion for me. My dad was an artist, but being a husband and father required him abandon the life of a full time artist...that starving artist thing, ya know. :) I remember my dad sitting with me when I was about 5 teaching me to draw shapes. He taught me to see shapes & to identify things I saw with something familiar. I would watch him paint a portrait with my childrens paints, and a horrible brush, on poster board of all things. When he finished, they would turn out to be so much more than those meager beginnings. I was amazed & told myself, "I can do that". From that point on, I was hooked. I was unable to take part in athletics throughout my school career, so I would refer to myself as an "art jock". :) For the first time, I am delving into the world of art licensing. I am learning as I go...feeling my way through. I am amazed at the opportunities now provided to artists. So, here I go!....into a whole new journey. :) |
