About Me |
I believe in God, His saving grace thru Jesus His son, the Bible, and that the Lord is coming again soon! Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus. Amen.
I'm a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. I'm living in the same city I was born and raised in, and except for a few years, have lived here my whole life. My husband and I have been married for almost 30 years. We have 3 kids (mine from an earlier marriage), 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. I can't imagine life without any of them!

Interests & Hobbies:
Oh boy, I love to do all kinds of crafts, from sewing to beading. Beading is my lastest love, and I've had so much fun joining online groups and making new beading buddies.
I collect and make stuffed rabbits, collect frogs, and anything Coke Cola I can get my hands on. My whole kitchen has been redone to compliment my Coke obsession.
Hummingbirds are another passion I have. The feeder outside my office window offers a special peek into these little creature's lives. I have around 300 photos of them, and still want more!

TV Shows:
I like most dramas, so the TV and movies I watch reflect that: all the CSI's, Criminal Minds, Bones, Numbers, The Unit, NCIS, and of course, both Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis. Now I've added Eureka! to my list of faves. I will admid to being a closet Dancing With The Stars fan, but only to you!
It looks like there may be several really good new series coming up, and I can't wait to see them. I'm ready for something besides reruns now. |
Favorite Music & Bands:
My favorite group would have to be the Gaither Vocal Band. Next to them would be the Isaac's. I really only listen to Christian music, and occasionally will turn on a Classical Music station.
My favorite type of Christian music is the old time gospel music. I miss hearing the hymns and old choruses in church and on the radio. All this new hip-hop stuff really doesn't put me in a mood to worship, and I think that's why God created music, for us to use it to worship Him. But that's me, others obviously have a different opinion. And that's OK, too. |
