About Me |
| I have a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from the State University of New York at Buffalo and taught for several years before retiring.. I am married to Dennis Eaton for 45 years (WOW!) I have two married children (Chris & Jen) and two grandchildren (Hunter & Claire Eaton). One of the reasons I became an artist is that I had lots of time on my hands since myfamily is spread out far and wide.....also the love of beauty and symmetry is a driving force. I take classes in a variety of media whenever the opportunity arises. I love to read, garden, kayak, bicycle, and travel. |

| My artwork is very eclectic, I love to experiement with different medias and after 12 years of having success while painting in watercolors I switched to painting with Acrylics in order to push the envelope even further. My favorite saying is "what if." I see so many possibilities with each piece of art and do a great deal of trial and error before it passes the critical eye test. My recent work is focused mainly on collage. I love the ability to add texture through layering of materials.and love to do areas of blocky color and interesting line work.. |
