| Hey Y'all...I have been creating something since I was 4 years old and my moma taught me how to crochet...At 17, I began tooling leather and making wallets and belts...a few years later I discovered Decoupage and Decorative Painting...I also had my own wood shop, where I made most of the items that I painted and sold in shops and various venues...Then I discovered Rubber Stamps...I bought some to make tags for my painted items that I sold in shops...but could not find anyone else in my local area that was interested in stamping at that time...I joined a crafting group on AOL and found a friend that lived in my area, she told me about a Rubber Stamp Convention that was going to be in Atlanta...well...needless to say, I went and the rest is history...I was in heaven...that was 10 years ago...About that same time, I really began scrapbooking...bought my first kit from QVC and it came with an issue of Creating Keepsakes...Now I am married to the most wonderful man in the world and I am the happiest little redneck in Georgia...We are raising two of our grand children...I have a new studio in town behind my momas house...She helps with the kids, so I can be creative...I also have classes and crops there too...More later... |
