Married, have a wonderful daughter, 21. I have sewn, crocheted, knitted, embroidered all my life along with some oil painting, glass painting and flower making. My precious daughter went away to college, to be educated on Philosophy at Ankara, in 2003. In those days I've discovered SRE and that helped me a lot to deal with my empty nest syndrome and filled the void in my life. When I've started the Crazy Quilting in February 2004, it changed my whole life. Ever since I'm a real CQ addict. I'm a real keeper now, to build a good stash. I love to join swaps. I love to trade goodies. I like to join RRs. I'm involved with Patchwork as well. We have a nice group here in Istanbul. We do sane quilting according to paper piecing method using vintage and antique pieces.
